John Potter's Pancakes Raised $3,256 for the Children's Room

John Potter Jr. ate 12 pancakes during the Pancake Eating Contest held at the 39th Annual Maple Festival in Marathon on Saturday, March 28.

John raised $3,256 for the Children's Room in the Brockway section of the Central New York Living History Center. That averages out to $271.00 per pancake. Darn good pancakes !!

A big Brockway "thank you" to everyone who supported this venture with their pledges and donations. And a "special thank you" to John for having the courage to eat that many pancakes in a 15 minute time period. He also entered the contest in memory of his father, John Potter, Sr., who was a vital figure in the start of the Brockway Truck Show and the dream that we would one day have a Brockway Museum. Your dad would be proud, John, of your support and dedication to this project and so are we. Thank you.
