Are other makes of die cast and models allowed here besides Brockways?

I saw that the post about a 389 Pete was moved so I wasn't sure.

To keep things neat and tidy non-Brockway items should go to the non-brockway forum. Everyone will still be able to see and engage in conversation. Thanks, carl

Question to Carl!
Being that we're being neat and tidy.
In registering to board!!
You should indicate your e-mail address and location where you live?
And it would be nice to know the age and your interest.
Doesn't matter how young or old you are.
At least for me it's nice knowing what state you live in.
:? Just my opinion

Ditto Tony!!! That's always the first place I look to see who the commenter is and many of us haven't filled it out. I look at it as just a courtesy to my fellow boarders.

And why is that so important? Filling in that information is an option and not required. What's next a full in depth bio with a picture. Give it a rest guys

Yes it should be required.
I also feel it's hard to be friendly with somebody that is anonymous like you.
We are a small group of people that look forward to meeting each other sooner or later.
And you are welcome to be part of this group but it would be nice to know who you are.
 Just my opinion

Malcolm, You are correct! It is an option just like civility and consideration.

Anthony,
Judging by the way you addressed Carl's post about keeping things neat and tidy I would say your issue is with rules and how you feel this forum should be run. Don't be using my profile as an example to make your point, OK pisan! If this reply is grounds for my removal then so be it. Come on guys it's a forum not an online dating service or a social network like facebook

Malcom - I feel I must jump in here and make comment. This IS a social networking site. We CHOOSE to make it that way because we all have a common interest in Brockway trucks and in many cases we have met personally and consider each other friends. You are welcome to join us. Or not. Each and every one of us is entitled to his or her own opinions, you and Tony included. What we require is common courtesy and civility on this board. When a post is made onto this, or any other discussion board, comments will be made sometimes to "make a point" As long as this is done in a civil, courteous manner, it's acceptable. My opinion.

You guys sure are quick to reply to controversy but when a guy posts pictures of a 758 it took 2 days before one of the "regulars" took note. I guess there wasn't enough info in his profile...

Don't feel bad Malcolm, Just came in from working on Brocks and see no-one answered my interior paint question. I don't post a lot and really enjoyed seeing those pictures and others posted recently. Many of us here have become good friends and often get together for a barbque and beer etc we trade parts but and sell them from each other. Recently another member knew of a part that I desperatly needed, He called up and said there were two of them he found awesome!! Getting of the point I wanted to make, when I joined I put in my local, over the years 6 or 7 members have contacted me as they were traveling neer me visiting family the stoped by we talked Brockways and guinely had a great time. It was my option but most people know they are welcome to stop by for a visit( CALL FIRST }. You too are welcome, without the local many of these friendships would not have taken place. we are a tight group just my opinion.
