Just thinking (gets me in trouble alot). How about having a band play one of the nights at the museum? I know the bluegrass band was there and on main street, however, what about a rock, top 40, or country band? There must be a local "bar"/ cover band around those parts. It wouldn't have to be just for the Brockway people, but for the whole community. Have a resonable cover charge and the money could go to pay for the band and the rest goes to the museum. If advertised through the local community, I think it could be a big draw.

Sort of an odd ball request here but I had a hell of time finding a public bathroom on the main street last year.

The board went to the merchants association and expressed our concerns that several businesses had signs posted as restrooms for "customers only". We were promised a change. We always have a few portable restrooms set up on the side street near the Alliance Bank, I believe that is Church St. We welcome comments like yours BP as unless someone says something, we don't know where the problems are.

Stan, Since you're asking, I'm probably the only one that noticed but, there didn't seem to be any complimentary, cold beer on main street either!

Stan and Emery

I am a beer drinker my self and even stopped in a couple of the Pubs on Main St and wet my whistle during the show Sat afternoon. I feel it is all right to have some at the museum dinners etc as long as it is not overdone.

BUT On Main St in downtown, with thousands of non trucking spectators I feel it should be excluded.

The trucking industry all ready has a bad enough image being placed before the general public by such groups as : PATT, CRASH, MADD, and a few other groups, that we do not need to publically shoot ourselves in the foot.

I think we all agree Brocky, I woun't even have 1 beer and drive one of my trucks. I was meerly trying to extend some Hospitality to one or more of our Foreign Dignateries who would not be driving. We don't want to "shoot ourselves in the foot". Paul

Stubnose, I was thinking more along the lines of the rock band DIO. Others might not realize that Ronnie James Dio grew up and lived a few streets over from where we have the show. RIP Ronnie. A nice southern rock or country bank would work too. Just an idea? As far as bathrooms go, Yeah it wouldn't hurt. That's the biggest complaint from the women (and kids) we're there with.
On another note, has the truck parking on main st. been discussed? We had 140 trucks and it was almost mirror to mirror. If we push 150 is there a plan?
