Ya Rich, I have about 20 sets of these. They were so common in the day, especially ones with with like a 8.50 ratio. I got everything you need. Also check on ebay. They are all over. Just dont fall asleep during the bidding.

true, but im planning for the future. when i retire the truck from slow racing, i would like to go at a somewhat comfortable speed. it takes me going to cortland in a pickup about 40 minutes. my 260 took an hour and twenty minutes. and the higher the speed the better rumble the motor will have up shifting and of coarse down shifting with the jakes.

rz, why not try to have the fastest Brockway now? Make your 260 break all land speed records. Take her down to the salt flats! Do you have any Brockways that go over 55mph? (not going down hill in neutral).
To the guy that's got the 400 day cabs...where are you at? Are they in decent shape? Are you sure there not Macks?

Well Rich it might go fast, but thats only considering you have enough motor to get going.

Well that split manifold must add at least 20 horse. Along with that 5 inch inlet air cleaner. That should make around 225 horse at least!! Im taking into consideration the considerable wear on the motor. Dane.. the trucks are in 3 different place. One is pretty nice. twin screw with a 350 cummins, the others are single axles and are a little worse. Yes they are all Brocks, but im not looking to sell.

Several coats of paint and few dozen coats of wax must be enough weight to slow you down a little, say back to 224 horse!!!! Unless you look at it from wind resistance - the up to 225 maybe even 226 !!!!!!!!!!!! You know you don't need to go to Bonneville, we've already proved that right in front of the museum ( right bad bad boy?) Stan 8)

Is there a track near the museum? Let's have Brockway drag races Thurs. night before the show. We all know how slow these Brockways are, lets see how fast they can go. Bring a helmet Richie. Stubnosebrock; how bout some pics of these 400 day cabs. Are these trucks in NY state?
