Trying to replace some of the photos that were hosted by photo bucket, who wants big $$$$ to light them back up....hopefully Flickr doesn't go that route.

NICE! I would come out of retirement for the opportunity to drive that truck every day. Pokey

Great photoes and restoration. I always was wondering why quite a few 360-361 Brockways that pulled dump trailers were short wheelbase.most dump trailers back then were 28'-34' at best.

Joe,

This tractor has a 160 inch wheelbase along with a Hendrickson with extended leaf, it rides beautifully. Been in 172 inch wheelbase Brockway/Hendricksons without the extended leaf and all they do is pound.....

Thanks John. I know the extended leaf rides much better.

Hello Duke, 7321 was one of 8 H360s owned by Colprovia. In 1988 O&G Industries acquired Colprovia, a company that had a blacktop plant in the heart of Westchester County. Its kind of a long story but 7321 along with it"s 6 surviving sisters ended up in Connecticut painted O&G gold. It broke a engine piston in 1993, was used as a parts truck by O&G and then passed through 3 owners before winding up in Wassaic NY, about 8 miles from were it was originally barned. Since 2008 we've been working on it trying to bring it back to the condition it was in when it was new. These trucks led a hard life grossing 160,000 lbs. every load hauling sand and gravel to the blacktop plant.

Hi Wade, You very well could have passed some of the old Colprovia/O&G Brockways back in the 90's over in Connecticut. I believe they sold them off around 1997. The Colprovia/O&G tractors are all accounted for. The big power 300 series, the H360 (1693 Cat) and the U360 (12v71 Detroit) were produced in fairly limited numbers so they are hard to find, but you never know. Bob
