I just dug through all my research paperwork on the engine and I don't have the truck serial number. If I remember right, the truck is a late 1969. When we ran the engine serial at Cummins it showed as being sold to Brockway Motor Co. Cortland NY and the date was a few months before the build date of the truck, so it's the original NH-230.

Stan,

Rick's 359 is the sister to Dave Durlings 359, I believe they were sold out of the Springfield MA Branch.

You are right John. Rick mentioned that to me and told me of his conversation with Dave. It would be nice to get the sisters together for a picture when the restoration is complete.

Carl,
Serial on the 359 is N359T-26-74143. It's a 1971 according to the owner. For some reason I thought it was older. Original equipment is NH-230 Cummins, RT-913 RoadRanger, R-170 Rockwell rear axle, FF901 Rockwell front axle.

Dave told me that his 359 had belonged to Longview Fibre. They had a plant either in West Springfield or Westfield, Ma. mostly had single axle Brockway’s then went to Mack after Brockway closure. I’m going to try to post a picture of one of Longview’s 758’s that I took several years ago.
