Not to hijack this thread, but I can't find now where on the web I got this pic from... so I figured I would try to go "straight to the source" here.

Jeremy, would you or anyone else know what color Broome County was using at the time of these Brockways (their older 1950s Brockways were supposedly gray, but by sometime in the 70s they had switched to orange) or what the decal/lettering might have been? Or any other pics or info about Broome County's Brockways? The last I knew they still have their wrecker, and I know they also had some 1950s-era Brocks. So I would guess that they had quite a fleet back in the day and that the Autocars that they've had since about 1978 were what they turned to after Brockway was gone (as seems to have been the case with several other towns and counties who had Brockways and then got big into Autocars in the late 70s or so if they didn't go the Mack route).

Thanks!

A George Fiebe original! An 361 wrecker that George snapped this shot of at a Towing show in Delaware in the 1980s. The double bumper has caused quite a debate, what is your opinion, yes\no?

Maybe he's the forerunner of the Chinese snowplows that seem to be so popular on most largecars today....

I sort of like it on a wrecker.. Are the 2 vertical black pieces rubber push blocks??? A lot of wreckers in the day used heavy front bumpers for a counterweight..
