Clam Bake

Postby Sled Dog » Sat May 16, 2015 2:35 pm

After numerous phone calls and emails, members want to have members express their opinion either for or against the 'clam bake' and even whether or not they would attend. Yes little or no advertising has been done and that helps for an event to fail. The swap meet declined because of a lack of available parts and ebay and the message board made getting parts easier without having to drive.

As far as I'm concerned, the clam bake is still on. I will be there not only for the clams, but the other selection of food. In my eyes, the clam bake always receives a good turn out and everyone shoots the bull. It's like a pre game for the big show. So for all that has read the previous post, I am all for having the clam bake. Please respond with thoughts. Thank you.

I'm in favor of any spring event or get together. August is just to far away to go without a dose of Brockway related fun . Unfortunately, I have other plans for June 13th this year. Carl

Unable to attend. Just saying. Man do the summers book fast. Won't be in Macungie either. I'm sorry to say.

You want people to visit the museum. Then you need to have events. No matter the turn out. no matter the cost. The offer must be there.

And advertise the events so people know and can make plans!

'Brock-a-que' on June 13 at the CNY Living History Center. Come on out and socialize with the Huskiteers. There will be delicious food 2-5pm. Get those pups revved up. $20 per person, $15 for members of BTPA, TOYS, Homeville, and the CNYLHC.
