I have a 1958 John Deere 2cyl 430U. Serial #SNO430U143379 for sale. Was built 11-25-58 @ the Dubuque factory. It has a rebuilt carb ($300). 3 original tires (Rears are loaded and have factory wheel weights that are valued @ $550). Original paint. Factory 3 point ( i believe one arm was replaced) with Factory top link (factory top links alone are $400-500). 1473hrs. There are a couple things that it needs. My cousin was mowing a hedgerow and raised the 3point last week. He did not put it back into float and the pressure cracked the housing. I checked and can get a replacement pump and housing for $300. The steering wheel is broke (one of the spokes broke free but is still attatched $54 for a new one). The bottom seat cushion need reupolstering (new seat is cushion is $47) the back rest is new. I also have a 3 point hitch 72" King Cutter FINISHING Mower deck (new one is $1400) that comes with it or will sell it seperately. It will need a new belt and blades, and a 6' box blade w/ ripper teeth. This tractor alone is valued @ 4- 5K. Restored value would be in the 8-10K. I have to get rid of some stuff as i have been off of work due to an injury and may not return til next year. 3750.00 or B/O. I will upload pictures later this week.
