Much progress is being made. Today was more cleaning of display cases and a few last minute projects! The carpet installers were working overtime. Of course if you buy over 400 yards of high grade commercial carpet, they would install on a Saturday for you too! Picture is of the carpet being installed in the main display hall on the Homeville side. Second picture is of our flag pole going up! This pole is unique because it was one of many donated by Brockway to various organizations as a community outreach. This pole was originally donated to a church that was later closed and the building sold. Knowing that it was a "Brockway" pole. it was donated to our museum. After a thorough cleaning and new pulley and rope, it was set today at the north end of the building, ready for "Old Glory" to be hoisted for the first time during our opening day ceremony.

The flag pole is really a great gift... I think in every other issue of the Brockcaster there was a picture of Bob Matthews at a flag pole donation presentation!
