F361T-79479 bought new by HO Penn Caterpillar dealer. 1674 was replaced with a 3406 which has been overhauled and a jake brake added,RTOO9513 trans rearend ratio 4:11. This is a factory pusher axle truck with real sheppard p/s and a big single frame. New brakes on both rear axles and most air lines replaced. Has been disassembled to replace cab,new cab is ready for install. A very unique and fast Brockway finish or part it out. No paper,bill of sale only. $5000 call Dave at 607-832-4575

I never would have guessed that a 3406 could fit in a 361! I know of a U360 with one, that was a tight fit!

Yeah it's in there and it fits well, all they did was do away with the shutters. My road speed chart says 2100 rpm is 97 mph !!! Brian thanks posting the photos for me do you have a pic of when truck was all together.

You mention its a pusher axle truck from factory. Is it a triaxle ie 3 rear axles , or a single drive with a lift front axle?.. from the last picture you posted it looks like the latter. Which model 3406 was swapped in ? what power rating?... Do you know the rear weight rating? any more pictures?

Deo yes it is a single axle and thats why it has a T in the model # instead of TL. The rear is at least 23K maybe more. The 3406 is a 92U commonly referred to as an A model, it was set at 325 hp we think. When I rebuilt it I added the aftercooler and turbo and jake from a 400.
