While traveling south on 81 in Va around the 50 mile marker or so I thought I saw a white 361 possibly a flat bed in a field. I was wondering if it belonged to anyone here or perhaps I was mistaken . For sure there was a possibly 50s truck on a service road many miles north of there out front could have been for sale. Couldn't stop was on a mission to get my daughter from school hit Talladega for 2 days and get back to clean out her dorm room .Frank

Frank, A customer of mine said they saw a white brockway in a field on 220 north of Mustoe? Could it be the same one? They didn't get a picture, this was 2 weeks ago. Always wanted to go see the Taladega race, was it worth the drive?? Paul

Will have to look at the map to see if it could be the same truck. Talladega is a great show this is the 2nd time I have been there. Wife bought the tickets as a christmas gift . It was a promotion with tower front stretch tickets and a 4 lap ride around from the Dale jarrett racing adventure on Monday . Pretty cool going around that track at 165 mph. Will probably try and do the drive yourself at a later date. I have done the driving and ride around at Charlotte Motor speedway but Talladega is a whole other animal. The speedway is in the middle of nowhere so pretty much you have to bring your own food of buy at the track. If you like restaurants and things to do in walking distance Daytona is the place to go if you like the high banks. Not even sure how many times I have been to Daytona between Feb and July races but it has been alot. Frank

From Google maps looks like Mustoe is east of 95 out by Fredricksburg. This one was on the west side of the state off 81

I have not been on that stretch of 81 in about 8-10 months.. The model 260 that is at Wytheville, (next exit below 77 south) is for sale and I have pictures of it. Posted about 2 years ago. If I remenber right the serial # said it was an early 50's but had an all steel cab?
There is also a 358 in Bristol by the 381 exit that I have pictures of and info about. posted last Dec. If you want more pictures of either send me an email
