hi my name is phil l am a new member to your message board but a long time brockway owner we have 5 trucks all together and just recently purchased the sixth a E360T owned by parkers express in avon ma. truck has 3 speed eaton rears in it can any one tell me if they were factory in 1968 first time i seen them.we thought it had huskey drive 2 speed rears as I read your forums there seems to be a lot of people with a great deal of brockway knowledge thanks phil from pa.

Hi Phil - welcome to the board! We all watched the auction of the 360 from Avon. Glad to hear that someone got that will appreciate it. As for your question on the Eaton 3sp rears, they are probably original to the truck. A Brockway could be spec'd and built with many different options, those rears included. I know of only one other set, so they are quite rare. Parts like shift controls turn up on E-Bay from time to time. Keep us posted with status of your projects.

Where I worked years ago the whole fleet of Brockway's (20 plus tractors )were 3 speed rears plus 3 White's also had the same drive train. Engines ranged from 250, super 250 and power torque 270's Cummins with 5 speed trans. Frank
