Was traveling up Central Ave in Albany this afternoon, looking in the direction of a growing boneyard, when I spotted this 359, on the return leg I took some driveby photos, this one was about the best. Will try to get closer next time.

Got a little closer today, it had a number on the dump body, #173 which you can't see in the photos.

Looks like it has solid tin. Exhaust looks like 4" to me probably 6-71 or non turbo Cummins. Anyone know specs. on truck? Nice picture. Joe D.

I had to adjust the origional of the first pic, otherwise you would have seen a lot of the inside of the cab, plus it wasn't straight. I usually just hold the camera up with the shutter set on continous, and click away, hoping i get something. In the next three I parked on a side street and walked up to the fence to get them.

I used to deal with the owner of this Brockway. Is it on Central Avenue or off of Karner Road ?
I can check on it if someone is interested on it when I am home next week.
As for DeCarlo's, yes it is still there or you can go to Night Moves near the corner of Route 9 and route 155.

Susan and I drove almost the length of Central Ave and did not see it. I went to where the contractor used to be as those pictures were very much like that location. Can you give me a reference point as I will be back there Saturday.

stopped and looked at this truck today. incredibly nice shape still with the Brockway floormats in the cab. 671 with i think a 4 x 4 tranny. i know it had a spicer box in it. dump box is beat. looks like its hauled some rock in its day. whole front of box is caved in twards the cab. think the guy that owns it last name is Leto.
