Emery - give Tom Kile a call. He is coordinator. Let us know when you are coming up and maybe we could make a group effort to get a bunch of us together one last time for the end of summer. Get some work done around the museum and put something on the grill around lunch time too. Ritchie, Tom, Dane, Stretch, you guys up for something like that?

Stan....you would have to give me a date to work with....with all the traveling lately the "honeydo" list gets long when I am home. But my "honey do" understand my love of the Brockways, so I should be able to do something. Let me know.

I had the fever so bad last weekend I fired up the 361 dump and wore ruts in the driveway.

I never noticed my wife standing next to the barn with a big grin on her face, and shaking her head. "Just couldn't help your self could you" she said.

NOPE!!!!

Emery.. you do realize that we no longer have shorts and straw hat weather.
You may have to pack that ski suit of yours.
Probably shouldn't have told him that , huh Stan? You know how those "sunshine boys" are.?

Yeah Stretch, I know!! But it's good to expose myself to it every once in a while to reaffirm my good judgement in migrating south.

Wait a minute! What's the weather forecast for that weekend ?? I know we're having snow in the NC mountains and at least one of our ski areas is making snow to the point that they offer free skiing today!! Central NY may not be a great idea. I may have missed my window.

I checked in with H.Q. from the road last night and got a verbal permission slip....

The 29th works for me...I may not get the whole day, but I certainly can come down for a couple hours of....doing whatever.

Keep me posted.

Emery...snow in the NC mountains????? Come on. Thats just the dandruff from all the snowbirds from the north heading to Florida with their convertable tops down.

You can bring up that "sunny" disposition of yours north.

The word around town is that Emery is driving up to buy us all breakfast next Saturday, so my Dad and I decided to come up! What time should we be there? What tools do we need?

Tom - we realize you have a two hour drive so whatever works best for you is great. The regulars meet at Steve and Lu's diner (1/2 mile north of museum) at 7am for B & B (breakfast & bullsh%^) then are usually back to the museum by 8am. You are welcome any time. Tom Kile has his company van on site with most tools we need. We are doing a lot of cleaning, conduit work for fire alarms, and installing smoke alarms. If you want to bring a small tool belt with common stuff like screwdrivers, cutters, wire strippers, etc. that's what I usually do. It saves running back and forth to borrow a tool. We plan on a simple cookout for lunch. Glad you're going to make it!

Oh Crap!! I had an offer at breakfast from a guy from Buffalo for his in-laws to bring apples down this weekend!!! Now it looks like I might not be coming. I will gladly spring for breakfast though if someone will handle it for me. I should have final decision this afternoon (Monday).
