What was the most popular Brockway model? Is this a question with no real answer? Maybe there was model that had a long run or sold in high numbers? Inquiring minds want to know.

I would say a tie between 4. 257, 260, 361,761

Jeff - I agree with the 257 and the 361, but the 761 with only about a three year production run can't compete with the nearly eight years production of the 361. 260 was popular too, but there are a couple variations. Now the question - popularity(crowd favorite) or production numbers?

Production numbers rule!! Crowd favorite would be pure speculation and argued Ad Infinitum! Of course my opinion would be the most accurate!

Good question. Based on production numbers I would say 260 in all of it's variations.

Mike, That would be my guess as well, based on a longer production run!! Anyone know when the 260 was first introduced?

My personal favorite is the 359. I would say the most popular with the Northeast freight companies would have been the 358 and 359. carl

I agree with Carl, a lot of 359's have surfaced lately, definetely 361's, 761 is probably the most popular 700 series...

We're talking "personal" favorites here but I'd bet the 260 had the longest run and was the "Most produced" but many of us aren't old enough to remember so the 300 and 700 series are more "Popular" because that's what we drove during our careers or that most recent Brockway we drove in our careers (your careers)
