Looking good Tony!
Your getting way ahead of me now. I'm still stripping the frame and removing all my dump hoist pieces. Sheet metal is shaping up nicely, but it's a bit cold to work in the garage. Takes to long to heat up...even with a kerosene salamander heater. It really is a pain when you go to pull out a wrench and you have to peel it off your hand. :  Warmer days are a coming.....I hope!
Keep us posted.

Thanks, and Happy Belated!!!

Well I made it into the shop today. I did a jitterbug with the zawzall for about two hours. vibrated a couple my old bones loose. Did about a half hour of grinding and then set up for the drilling. It was about two hours of drilling thank goodness for the Spiral reamer and ended up with a little filing and paint.

Now to get to steering box cleans up and painted. Till next time, Thanks for looking

Way to go Tony! Looks just like the factory cut. You'll be pleased with the ease of steering when you get everything done. Keep up with the pictures because many viewers would like to add power steering to their trucks too. Stan

Been watching your progress and it looking good!
Stan is right about power steering !!!! Let the truck provide
effort instead of the man behind the wheel!!

Well I got into the shop today. It wasn't easy! I kicked my butt but I got the power steering box in. After six hours of lining everything up. and getting the spring bolts back in was the toughest. That's where another set of hands comes in handy trying to pull the punch and put the bolts in at the same time.
It was pretty tough but I got it done have a few bolts to put in and tighten everything up.

 Overall it was a good day and thanks for looking

Yes I have a pump and a reservoir.
:?: Is there anything in particular I should look for when I installed the Pump?

Okay here is an update, while I was waiting to solve the the oil pump and power steering problem which I did and I'll post some pictures next week sometime.

I decided to take the 24.5 rubble off the front and switch out the spokes to 20 inch spokes where I could use 22.5 tires and also got to check the front brakes and King pins and the air supply to the brakes. And I picked up practically brand-new set of floats for the front. after seeing Glen 359 with the floats on it I had to put floats on the front of my 358.

Tony It will look mean with the floats on front. Just make sure they do not rub when you make turn. Joe D.

 After doing a few things around the house for Terry. :) :)
I made it into the shop I wanted to see what one of the tires look like on.

I am really happy with the decision I made. That's all I know that the tires and the drums are very heavy.

I lost 15 pounds moving that stuff around

Joe D the tire just clears the steering arm by a quarter of an inch
