Just got thru wahing dishes and got a courisity thought.

How many of you are still using the old copper bottom Revere Ware made in Oneida, NY?

We still have 2 frying pans and 3 sauce pans that my mother bought in the 50's and are still using them.
We also have about 4 each, of both the clear Corning Pyrex and White with blue snowflakes, baking dishes from that era.

It was not only Brockways that upstate NY built tough!

OKAY.... new lesson learned.
Never leave the computer unattended while you have a post in progress.

SOMEONE who shall remain....in trouble, will sneek in and finish the post and send it before you get a chance to finally check it!!

Between 1977-80, I hauled black oil out to Revere Ware regularly, I bought a set of pots and pans for my Parents and for my girl friend at the time, at the company store. I still have and use my Parents set...

We have a set! (And Dawn was obviously thinking of me)
If I remember correctly mine was purchased by my Mom from a door to door salesman.

Yes I have a set that my folks got when were married in 1958! Even have a four cup coffee pot with the glass top. It's good for company who want to see what a real cup of coffee is like. If you're not used to percolated coffee it will make your hair stand on end!
