The adventures of Tony's vacation.
I started out at 430 a.m. this morning heading to Lincolnton North Carolina to the ATHS truck show. It was a beautiful clear morning I had the road all to myself and made it through Jacksonville and into Georgia and never saw any traffic at all. Then I picked up Route 77 in South Carolina working my way up to Charlotte, North Carolina.
Just before the North Carolina border a major traffic jam on Route 77 heading north that's when I discovered this tractor-trailer burnt to a crisp. Here are a few pictures.
Within the ½ hour we war back up and rolling again.
Looking forward to meeting up with, Emery, Glen, and Brocky will take pictures
in till tomorrow.
 This will be a Roland story all the way to Cortland. :D

Thats the neat thing about road trips, you never know what you may see, or find over the next hill, or around the next bend. At least you have had nice weather to travel in. See you Friday.

Well 525 miles 9 hours to Baltimore, Maryland. Driving into Virginia on route 81 there are beautiful mountains and it was a perfect clear day.
Going into Washington with no traffic was ok.
In till I hit Maryland that's when the traffic started.
Going into the Baltimore tunnel you are like a grain of sand going through an hour glass.
Here is a picture of very colorful truck. On my way to New Jersey and less than two weeks away for the big day at Cortland. see you dare. :D

Well we are in Cortland now settled down in the Ramada Inn. Put 1500 miles on the car. And got to see Glen his nephew David and Emery and Brocky. That was in North Carolina. As I worked my way into New Jersey got to see Stephen and Ernie.
As I was going true Pennsylvania we got to stop and see Tom and Tom Sr. and their family.
It was a great trip. Can’t wait for tomorrow to go see the museum and catch up with some more friends.
