....one 2011 JA Carman photo, for one from the 1970-80's. It doesn't have to even be a Brockway.

At least they are back to painting them red again.

Dillon is considered a good Tank hauling company.

John - were you looking for that company or just a vintage tanker shot in general? I'm a little slow. Mike

Mike,

Carman has been around for a long time, and when I started paying attention to them in the mid 1970's, they had a lot of White 4000's. It seems to me that they would buy 4-5 trucks at a time, and when they bought a lot of four 361 Brockways, I thought they were the sharpest trucks working out of the Port of Albany, 290 Cummins, 13 speed, bright red with chrome radiator shell, I drove an R-Model with a 237, and they always just walked right away from me. The next lot was Road Boss 1's, equally as sharp, there were some Chevy versions of the GMC General, and then R-Models. When I went into Freight, I kinda lost track.

I know there are photos out there, it may cost me............

They also had at least one N761TL flip nose that I now have although I changes it to an alligator nose.

Are you talking about JA Carman formerly of Prattsville NY? I don't remember them or any of their owner-operators ever having any 700 series Brockways.

Of coarse, if I saw a picture of this, I could believe.....
