67 N257

Im throwing this out for sale to see what it generates, if anything. I really like this truck, and will keep it if it doesnt sell, but I sure could use the room. It is a 1967 N257TLY. HRF-6B Cummins, 15 speed Fuller, with air shift 2 speed rear. Not sure of ratios. Originally built as a twin screw, it was converted to single axle and had a high lift coal body installed. Its pretty long wheel base for a single axle. Truck runs pretty good, I have not driven it at all since I got it. Truck will not build air to move. Cab needs floors, but all the structure is very nice. Roof is rotted. Cab back is pretty nice. Doors are very nice. Fenders are quite nice. Hoods are nice, but the tack welds are breaking at the hinge. Bumper is twisted up bad. Frame has issues. Realistically a parts truck, but I had big dreams of slowly fixing it. Asking $2000.00 OBO. I know the picture shows about nothing, but the truck is currently tarped up. You can call me at 607-743-7475. Brandon

Truck is single frame but has cracked along the bottom flange where the original K member for the tandem were never removed. I believe it is rated at 195 Horse.

$1900.00 OBO. Truck has aluminum tanks on it. Drivers side is not Brockway but does closely match. Right side is a Brock tank. I do have a PA title for the truck.

The more I look at that truck, the more I can picture it around here with a high lift on it. Sure does look like the same truck. Hmmm?

Truck came from Petak trucking. Close to your area, so you have likely seen it.

Stubby I am pretty sure Petak Trucking was from the Mayfield, Carbondale, simpson Area. Most likely why it looks familiar to Mark as he lives in general area. There was always a variety of truck chassis for high-lift coal work, B-61'S H-63 Macks (Consumers Coal Scranton).A lot of Brockway's were used in the Coal Industry. Joe D.

Petaks' is in Simpson. I remember that truck had a high lift on it. Those guys had a 359 tractor they puled a lowboy with years ago also. I'm pretty sure that before too long, that place (Petaks') is going to be pretty popular on here. ???

I just happen to know there's an other old Brockway coming out of storage. Seems it too is going to Petak's.

RZ, I just saw this. Do you think that 318 will fit in my stepside Chevy?
