I don't know that i would want to pay the gas bill to drive it to the N.C. state and back.

Sorry...that is on thing I won't skimp on then I go see the "Mouth mechanic". You guys got more power tools than most automotive shop! One slip of that mini impact wrench or high torque drill....I'd rather not feel..when you have a bad day..

I done the "ASK THE SELLER" on ebay just for grins and giggles and asked what they hoped to get if it didn't meet the reserve and I thought they had flipped out when they replied with low 30's but I guess it was not to funny for them when it only got a little above 9k.

What would a fair price be in you Members opinion? I thought 20-25 if the pictures were accurate. But I'm a newbie. I have been watching just so I have that info in my arsenal when my wife asks after work begins.
His craigslist went from 65ooo to 35ooo as well.

My opinion - if it's turn key, ready to drive, without any major issues, I'd say about 1/3 of what they're asking now.

How much is it worth ? Who knows. Whatever someone is willing to pay for it. I like to remind people that there are always more old trucks for sale than there are buyers. Most people would like to drive their antique , but an old timer like this one really can't practically be driven to shows, so that narrows down the number of buyers further. It is no doubt a rare classic, and to restore one could easily cost you 25 grand. It's hard to tell if it was a complete restoration, or just bodywork and paint. In my estimation a best case scenario would be an offer in the $15,000 to $20,00 range. But realistically, I think Stan has it right. Steve

I agree, that truck was restored 15 years ago at least, and from the looks of things it was a simple restoration, but it could have weathered a little i guess..

So scrap price plus 100 for scavenger truck to 12ooo to 20ooo for a "Good" truck-no issues, paints good, needs nothing. No matter the year. Is that what I'm hearing?
I guess it's a good thing I'm a low income guy. I walk around Cortland in Early August and I see a whole lot of trucks worth 50ooo-80ooo!
Am I wrong in guessing most of you would never part with yours for 20ooo?
Maybe I overpaid for mine. I, personally, am happy with it. So I guess not. But if I coulda had a running driving fixer-upper for 3ooo....maybe I did.
I guess we'll see what I find when my leg heals, and work begins.

I been looking for a Brockway truck with a sleeper for a long time. I have read all the post everyone has posted on here and from what I read it seem everybody feels this is to high of a price. The guy selling the truck has told me that it runs great with no issues at all. He also said he need to get at least 27k out of it. Do you all still feel that is to high? If so where else can I fine a restored Brockway truck with a Sleeper? None seem to be out there that I can fine. If anyone knows of any other listed online please send me a link. Thanks

I cannot say what it is worth,but finding any Brockway with a factory sleeper is rare as hen's teeth. Good luck. Joe D.
