Are the frame rails on all 300 series trucks the same or do the different 300 models use different rails?

300 series Brockway's could have single, double or triple rail frames in 1/4 or 3/8 thickness depending on gross weight capacity the truck was built to carry. The outside to outside frame dimension is the same no matter what capacity at 34". The top to bottom dimension of the frame rail depends on the capacity. The frames also differed at the front depending on engine option and if equipped with power steering or not. The big engine 300 series trucks, such as 12V71 Detroit, had a frame reinforcement on the outside of the rails near the radiator base. Model number in the 300 series such as 360, 361, 358 or 359 made no difference. Model number designation was determined by hole drilling to locate the components.
