This came from the factory, no other holes on the frame. I am not familiar with Page suspension. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks. In principal, it seems similar to Hendrickson, which is a bit rough also. Was it ever popular? I have not seen one like this. Page had an odd unit for a dead axle that was used around here. What other suspensions were available 1960-end?

I have a 1970 KW 923 with Page+Page Suspension similar to yours mine is heavier at 44,000 and has 44,000 Rockwell SRDD drop in rears 5.86 ratio. My truck came out of a quarry in Maryland originally came with a cummins 335 now 290 4X4 Spicer 2 stick p steering set back axle.I do not remember seeing many in my area of northeaster,Penna. thru the years.

Worked 18 months at Brockway factory branch and then 10 years for a Mack dealer and I think I can count on one hand the number of Page suspensions I've seen. They just were not popular here in the northeast.

Another question here; Are the axles in the picture Eaton? There are no tags anywhere. What are the letters in front of Rockwell axles (SHHD, SLHD, SQHD, SSHD, STHD, SUHD)?

Second the letters on the Rockwell Axles are the weight ratings. Example SRDD is 44,000 drop in Rockwells,SSHD is 44,000 old rating new rating is 46,000 they are front loaders.Pretty sure the Double D is drop in top loaders.

Your picture is of an Eaton axle. Guessing 38K or 44K.
