Fuel type for Brockway, what is best?

Postby dave » Tue May 26, 2015 5:41 pm

Looking for some information on what kind of fuel works best on the 154 Brockway. I have been using high-test, I don't know if I should.

Save your money and buy regular. You don't need high octane, or lead replacers either. Your old Continental will work just fine on the cheap stuff, and it probably has for its whole life. If by chance you are having a spark knock problem, just tweak your timing a bit. Is your truck a 154W, with a 427 flathead, or a 154WH with a 513 overhead valve?
