Help locating some parts for a 1976 V759TL

Hello,
I am the recent proud purchaser of a 1976 Brockway V759TL with a Cummins 903 and Eaton 10 speed. I intend to restore her and am looking for some help locating some items.

First and foremost, both the fenders are shot. I have been told that the radiator shell and fenders have been reproduced and are available in both fiberglass and metal. Can anyone tell me if this is true and if so where I might find them? If not, does anyone have a set in reasonable condition that they would be willing to part with?

Next, I believe the cab is the same as an R-series Mack. Is this correct, and if so, what year cabs would be interchangeable with mine?

Finally, is anyone aware of a company that is producing after market wiring harness for these trucks?

Congradulations on the new purchase. Basic cab is close to R-Model Mack but some differences are roof vent in Brockway is toward rear R-Model is forward,cowl is different as dash is different also. These are a few those with more knowledge will go into more detail. Fenders should not be much of a problem to find. Good luck Joe D.

Congratulations on the new purchase I like the 759's kinda rare and different. As Joe said you should be able to locate fenders, think brian (enckway) or Dane B will be able to help with that. Do a search Brockway cab compared to a mack cab and many of your questions will be answered lots of good info there as well as pics of RZ 's splice job . Good luck Paul

good luck trying to find a good rad. shell or a grille insert. they are about impossible to find! I do know the Brockway dash can be put in a mack cab, Andy Preiser's truck is proof. As far as a wiring harness goes, nobody makes one..

Thank you for all the input, it's exactly what I've been looking for.

I previously read the post about splicing the cabs together, but I really don't have much to start with. I'm keeping it as a last resort, but hoping I can come up with something better.

I see some Brockways pop up on truck trader sights now and then. Dose anyone have experience getting parts from this way?

Paul, a buddy of mine got me a card for Dane B, I will try giving him a call as he is located close to me. Thanks for the suggestion, I feel better than just cold calling him.

I wanted to share what little background I have on this truck. I am told she started her life as a Pen Yan Express horse. As she is a TL (which correct me if I'm wrong designates that she has 2 drive axles, which she does) I suspect she spent most of her time pulling doubles on the T-Way. At some point, I suspect near the end of the Pen Yan Express years, she was purchased by a gentleman in Williamson NY who owned the Plassche Lumber company and made regular trips between the Williamson, Sodus, Newark and Watkins Glen stores. This continued until between 5-7 years ago when the gentleman fell ill and passed. At that point she was parked in the weeds until an old trucker buddy of mine (Shaker) talked me in to buying her. After getting her home it took some batteries and a starter rebuild and after about 3 spins over she fired and ran like a charm.

Anyway, my grand dad Art Morristell drove for Pen Yan, and though I never met him, and he passed 3 years before this truck rolled off the line, it seemed like it fit.

Her frame and running gear seem solid as a rock, but just about all the tin is shot, and so the adventure begins.

I bought an NOS radiator shell from Manny Pinto near Lancaster PA about 8 years ago for my father's 758. He had several of them at that time. I don't know about now. His number was just posted on another thread on here. I don't know if a 758 and 759 shell are the same.
My father bought fiberglass fenders at the Brockway gathering quite a few years back. They are available. Those parts are finally being put on the truck.

a 759 shell only fits a 759, just like a 359. making them a little hard to find.

By doing a little metal work, lengthening the sides, a 758 rad shell can easily be made to fit a 759.

Mike Yarnall, do you have any contact info from who/where your dad got those fiberglass fenders? Thank you and Stan for the information about the radiator shell, that is encouraging.
