I have a 62 N257T with a r96 trans, push style throw out bearing and 13/4" input shaft. I bought a rto9513 trans from a salvage yard to replace the r96.My clutch housing(bellcrank) would not mate to the new trans. so they provided one that mated to trans. and to my flywheel housing. Now the problem is the throw out bearing and bellcrank over travel in order to try and depress the clutch fingers. The original housing bellcrank pivot point was 11/2" closer to clutch than my "new" housing. How do I get out of this jam?
