Did they use a smaller steering wheel in the 700 series with power steering? Were different sizes offered or only one size? Thanks Joe D.

My 758 with manual steering has the same size wheel as the 3 761's I have with power steering.

Thanks Mike. I have a 361 with power steering and the wheel is smaller than oldspwr's with manual steering. I have a 758 with power steering but it is not the plus 3 cab. It would be nice to have a little extra room. Or loose weight. Joe D.

Joe - see if you can find a wheel form a Mack MB model. There usually smaller and should fit the splines on the shaft in your truck. Stan

Stan would the splines on a 361 be the same as a 700 series? I think my 361 wheel is 2" smaller than oldspwr's wheel. I will look for an MB wheel. Thanks Joe D.

well dane,

you drove 2 of our 700's that are not +3 cabs and they have white wheels. or were you not paying attention because you were busy looking in the mirror because you left the tranny behind?

Every 700 I've ever seen has had a white wheel, Real late 300s had white wheels and brown seats like a 700, and some had rubber hood latches. Must have been a cross production thing?

Never seen anything besides white in a 700, green or white in late 300 like Dave said. Stan

Big Joe let me take Richie's Dream (761) down to a PA show. On the way home I wound it right up and pulled so far ahead of the "family" I got lost and had to pull over and wait 20 min. That's the most action in the hammer lane that truck saw in a long time. Sorry about the tranny RZ, I like to think i'm getting better. maybe the fluid was too cold?
