Its been a while since I've given an update on the restoration we have been working on taking it apart and get the parts ready to blast, mechanically it seems pretty sound but shes gonna need a good bit of body work we keep finding green hiding in places were the repaint didn't get so we plan on going back to what it was from the factory. It had sat outside for a few months and surprisingly started without any ether. I hope to get some more work done on it between working and taking care of work trucks takes up a good amount of time but a few hours here and there its coming along slowly

Its been a little while but the truck is coming along. We took it to our house because i just dont have time at work. its a little tighter working in the barn but at least something is getting done, and we get special visitors. We had a great time at the show meet a lot of great people and a huge thanks to Dane we picked up a floor and rocker panels. We pulled the cab over the weekend so we can put the new rocker panels on and restore the cab.

Progress has been slow lately, but i was able to get the rims cleaned up, painted and got the tires mounted. Also made a cart so we can move the cab around while we are working on it. With work wrapped up we will spend most of the time working on it, So more updates will be coming soon

Starting to get the rest of the parts stripped apart and ready for blasting and painting, I was working on the door and need new weather stripping, seals as well as a smoker window latch. I've done a little research and found a few things but figured someone here might already know where to get them, i also need the trim in the dash if anyone has any advise it would be much appreciated. i also replaced the battery box bottom that was rotted out

Hi Leaddog...

Here is what I have on the door weatherstripping & glass channel...

Door Glass Channel

Restoration Specialities and Supply, Inc 814-467-9842
Stainless Steer (SS) beaded channel mounted in vent window frame, (2) 4' pieces - Part # Y614
Unbeaded glass run channel with steel core (3) 4' pieces for both doors - Part # 3-A-1
They also have the window felt for both the inside and outside but I don't have the part number handy.

On a side note, the rubber vent window gasket is not available and neither is the vent window handle.

Door Weatherstripping

Bob Drake Reproductions, Inc. 1-800-221-3673
Universal Seal - 1/2 round hollow core, 3/8" wide, self adhesive FG-300-20

Top and bottom of door rubber bulb seals
McMaster-Carr 1-609-259-8900
Rubber bulb seal - 8' per door (covers both top and bottom) 1142A78
It's a little smaller than the factory stuff but it's all can I find that is reasonably close.
