First time on your site. Born in Cortland I helped my dad pick up laundry at the Brockway plant around age 10-12. Since then I have called many states home and I am currently living in Mentone, Alabama, although I am working in Kabul, Afghanistan.
I scratch build what I refer to as HERITAGE TOYS trucks, tractors and horse drawn wagons from wood. My research on creating a Brockway 361 dump truck brought me to this site. I have always been in love with the Brockway and if time permitted I would certainly restore and own one, or two. But today I satisfy myself with scratch building 1/10th, 1/12th & 1/16th scale models.
I would like to know if anyone else has the same interest. Also I am sure someone might remember me or my dad.
