my 1960 H257T has an Eaton R454 2 speed axle 20503 . there are not any production oil seals that fit my axle and hub combination. the felts are still good, the outer lock nut with the rubber lip need replaced and is there another gasket type thing that goes on axle shaft to run inside of this rubber lip on locknut. I have spents hours on the internet and talking to people and can't find any info on this.

I am working on the same issue for fellow Brockway owner/collector Fred Little. There are wheel seals available to fit the spindle but not for the bore of the hub. I am going to machine a sleeve to press in the hub to reduce the bore by about 100 thousandths, then a production seal will fit.

Give this a shot too. I don't think he has anything in the building newer than 1980.
