For the first week of February we have another 2 for one special. And this week it's of our favorite 759! I found these this morning over on Hank's Truck site was able to get in touch with the photographer, Mike Kapustar, These were taken in July of 1978 on the Ohio Pike... Thanks Mike!

I really enjoyed seeing this picture, , funny, it's a small world. . I heard tales of a truck like this, , well for years now, and in fact Rich (the owner of the Green Apple Express 257) was going to track a friend of a friends 759. Rich has been thinking about it for years. He has the "vision" of this truck. Rich can't restore a truck if he doesn't have "The Vision" ha ha. Any how , , ,, We know the truck is still intact and who has it and where it is. And we should know if it's the same truck that is in the picture soon. We will keep you posted! Thanks for memory!!!

Ok , , , ,it's official!! I called Dave who knows the original owner and he did confirm that was his truck. He was from Portland Me. he ran produce all over! He still has the truck! It is in need of restoration. As I remember a faded script was on the sleeper , , , ,"One of a kind" .I'm not sure if that applied to the truck or the driver, or both. If anybody has interest I'll try to put more together. Tim

I'm sure I passed this rig many times on I-80 back in the late seventies. Definitely a unique rig. What were the specs?

Huskyhuskie, that 759 would stand out in my mind! What were you driving and hauling when you saw this truck?? I hope one of the guys with the micro-fish can give us the specs. I am told there was 2 pages of options on this truck! Paul

I am now the new official owner of this truck. It is truly "One of a Kind". A big thanks to Mike and P.J. for all the help. Ran 1009 mi. in my 760 this wkend to save this beast. She never skipped a beat. People didn't know what to look at first, the 759 on the trailer or the 760 pulling it. Brockway Trucks...Keep'em on the road.

Thx guys. Yes pics were taken but I don't know how to post them. Plans? first was just to save it. Get it back in the Brockway community. Idk right at the moment. probly get her running and get brakes working. Believe it or not its not in that bad of shape. The cab is pretty solid. Trk overall has not been butchered. I have the micro card on it. The build sheet is pretty impressive. Truck appears to be all there and original. I'm not a big high cab fan, so idk what im gonna do with it. Anybody interested?
