Interesting, Renault owned Mack for awhile and the husky on this Brockway turned into a bulldog. Maybe it was a company truck over in France.

Apparently Renault/Mack wanted a "Rugged" truck as their company wrecker!!

Definitely a French plate. White on front bumper, yellow on rear. Registered for 56MPH

The wrecker body looks like its from an Army 5 ton wrecker. Rugged body on a rugged chassis. Looks like the French got this one correct.

Notice the tow bar. It's not what we're used to over here. They tended to flat tow everything over there. There's also a long bar on the left side of the deck for another option.
