Organ Donor

Postby Screamin DD » Thu Nov 01, 2012 6:56 pm

I know i missed some real excitement on here Wednesday night. I need to clarify something that may have been taken out of context. The pictures of the 257 that was taken apart was NOT scrapped. Rather it was a donor truck in order for others to survive. All useable parts were kept and I myself have got something from that truck. Sometimes pictures don't show us all the flaws and tell the whole story. I just think of how many trucks that the donor will save. I know alot of us want to restore everything we see, but sometimes sacrafices are made in order for others to survive. Just my opinion

Kyle is right, that the difference between truck people and enthusiasts. Generally you can give away trucks like that 3 times and people won't even pick them up.

now that it is clarified, i hope things about the post will settle down. for future reference, it needs to be clear the intensions of whats going on with brockways if people choose to share on here. preventative maintenance in a way. from what i saw and everyone else, it did not look like anything was being saved. i am glad to hear that the parts off the truck are being used. so with that said, lets move foward.

I seem to recall that John did say in the original post that some of the parts off the 257 were saved, but it seemed like that was ignored by everyone.

No, I knew it was later in the post where he said that, but after he did say that parts were saved, the bashing still continued.

I didn't see much of the latter part of the thread, but I did recall seeing something about a democracy and that we could vote on it. Just curious why the thread was deleted? Censorship is more disturbing to me!!!! Brian

I started the vote to delete the post. Carl was off line due to a power outage. The webmaster chose to deleted the post. Until Jason responds here as to his reason, I would speculate that it was because of the wide spread use of profanity and also the insinuation of violence (calling someone out, ie: meet somewhere and settle it) between members.
