My Father and I had a great time yesterday. Hats off to everyone who put the finsihing touches on the museum as well as the clambake. Good to see old and a few new friends. The museum is awesome, I am into wwII history as much as Brockway so the Homeville Museum was awesome as well. Be sure to check it out in August. Thanks to stretch for hauling my coe floor pans up from Glen's for a hot dog combo :)....Brian

Brian good seeing you and everyone else there. GREAT CLAMS!!! The museum is everything we could have hoped for. What a great job you guys did, take the rest of the summer off!! I arrived at the museum at 5 after 5 just as they were shooing everyone out so I missed all the hoopla. Had no traffic delays all the way up until just north of Scranton and that screwed me!! Had a good day Saturday though (and was able to make a deal with Dane behind Stretch's back 8) )
eleven hours on the road Sunday, got home in time to harvest a couple quarts of blue berries from the Big Sky Garage!

Emery

Yea, traffic between Scranton and BInghamton was bad, we got caught in it both directions Friday, going up and coming home. Had a great time Friday, looked around the museum, then had to head for home, got back 12 hours after we left.

I had a good time at the fling. I wished that more Brockway guys came with their trucks. When I first heard of the clam bake happening, I was excited to go. Unless alot of Brockway guys are deathly ill from sea food, I just cant understand why more people were not there for such a nice planned and catered event. Thats my only thought whether its negative or positive. I know Saturdays are working days for many, but not all. Had a great time, but thought the truck attendence was a little lacking.

RZ- I agree with you although I am incriminating myself for not bringing a truck(I swear i tried 2 wiper motors). I hope the turnout was good enough so it happens again next year....Brian

Have to agree the Spring Fling and Clambake on Saturday was AWESOME, regretfully work didn't allow me to attend Friday. You can't put a price on what a great feeling it was to hang out with old Brockway friends and meet new ones. This usually only happened at the Big Show, now since we are so lucky to have a Museum dedicated to our favorite brand we have to come up with another Party/ truck show /anything so we can partake in the fun again. It will also give those who didn't attend another chance to join in our fun! Thanks to all who drove hours and hours to attend. I guess next year I will weld eyelets to the floor of my dump box so I can bring a truck. I too was hoping to see more Brocks, back to the positive we are really lucky to have a great group of people involved in our Brockway hobby and we have to do something like that again soon!! Thanks Paul

I guess what matters is that the true die hards were there. Truck attendance for this years fling was pretty scarce and a joke as far as I'm concerned. A little parade happened before the opening which was a nice touch and there were more trucks in that then there on Sat. If there's going to be a "home of our own" then there should be Brockways in attendance. I would expect to here complaints and excuses on the cost of diesel fuel before a bunch of nonsense about how a truck wasen't ready mechanically to be there/make the trip. Chris and I had a Great time BS'ing with everyone ( screemin' DD and crew), and the bake was excellent I thought. Hat's off to those that volunteered countless hours/got and gave the funding, to produce what I saw there this weekend. Rome wasen't built in a day and neither was a Brockway Truck. All Brockway people should be proud to now have an official place to gather. Emery, great meeting you and your wife, but you lost out on that 361. ( I do have some ocean front property if your interested!) Hope to C-y'all at the main event on Main St. in Aug. Let's make it a barnburner!.............Dane

I want to say that I had a great time too. It was really nice to find the people you want to see and talk to without trying to hunt them down. What a great bunch of friends I have found here. My hats off to all the people who did such a tremendous job with the museum. Beautifully DONE! Paul and Dave, thank you again for bringing our parts. I know my Dad and Brother really enjoyed themselves too. Stretch you have a great women there. We had a good time B.S.ing with you and Dawn. Cant wait til the August show and looking forward to next year
