Here is another interesting picture from Andy Hill's collection. This is a 1967 359LL that is located near Schaghticoke, NY. Notice how the fiberglass grill insert stick out a few inches. They installed an automatic trans is this truck and located the trans cooler in front of the radiator.

It must have a newer cab. 67 would have the 200 series dash. What a lot of postings and chatter on the '59 series lately. the 200, 300 and 700

I think the cabs are the same, the older ones just have a flat dash

Looks like a silage body on that farm truck and that's a application for automatics that farmers love . In the 70s I had a call from a farmer in Iowa or Kansas where he wanted to regear his F 700 Ford . That way ,his wife could drive the grain truck to the elevator and save the union wage when they otherwise had to hire a driver .

Yes Ted, If you look @ the dash it is raised. Where as the 67 would have the flat dash like the 200 series

I think I remember Andy telling me about this farmer back in the day. The guy put the auto's in so that his Daughters could drive them.
