Brian thanks for the post, its hard to see the progress but I'll list a few things. Converted front brakes to S-cam,changed motor, rad, and cab mounts. All belts hoses and wiring, new turbo adjusted valves trying to do as much as I can think of. I have every intention of using this truck so I want to think of everything I can now. I am concentrating on the cab now that is where all the time gets spent. Hoping to maybe shoot interior paint by the end of the month. I will get Brian some Pictures of the truck from back in the day,Dockman if you still have your pictures could you post too.

Nice pictures and progress. First 12 Banger Tri-Axle I ever saw. There used to be a lot of them on Long Island hauling sand with 3 axle trailers.Joe D.

Joe, not a V-12 but a 1693 Cat the first four and a quarter. A few interesting notes when I brought it to Cortland in 2010 the original and only owner until me drove it in the parade. The truck pulled that Freuhaf Trailer for 25 years. That combination is referred to as short doubles and was registerd for 145,000 lbs. in Michigan where the rules are different from any other state. Thanks John for posting your photos.

Dave - great truck! Keep up the good work. Finding these rare ones makes me think you should be "Luckydogz" not Bigdogz"

Turned the lights on and opened the door to get "dockemen" quality. Dan-you are right, not really a lock just have to kick in the right spot like the fonz.

Did Dave ever share the pictures I took of the local housewives sitting on the fenders in that residential area during that rescue ? I convinced them it was a re-enactment of the Overdrive cover pictures ,or a typical Peterbilt ad back in the day .

Dan,
I have only seen those "classy" shots once. I think those pics aren't allowed in the house? But they are fine here :)

Wow!! I like that "Michigan Centipede" rig. Never seen anything like that before. Maybe some of the big double bottoms in Oz.
