Perfect examples of why to stay off the interstates on the way to truck shows.

Ernie, we ran 81 n for a bit on the way up, and I ran 81s out of cortland to 380 in PA, and had no problems at all, minus the butt kicking from the bobtailing. Some of the road was rough but no problems.

No - nothing happened to these Brockways. If you stay off the Interstate and travel the secondary roads, you're likely to see prime Brockway trucks that are still out there waiting to be explored. These examples are still working for the local asphalt and road materials supplier in the Cortland area. Last count they still had over twenty five Brockways in their fleet. Some are specialty trucks and others are old units that may get another body at some point. (such as the 359)

FYI Currie Farms also on Rt 11 in Onondaga still has a Brockway parked out front.

I'd love to see some pics of Suit Kote's Brockways with bodies or pulling trailers. The ones I see usually look like two of these three ... just tractors with no trailer, or c/c with no body.
