GG2, looks like your rockin and rollin out there. Looks good. Where did you get the sheetmetal pieces? ie: drip rail and rockers. I was able to get metal out of cook. bros., just wanted to see if there's another local supplier availiable.

DANE , BOUGHT THE DRIP RAIL AND ROCKER SKIRTS FROM ( PAI ) AND MADE THE ONES IN THE FRONT OF THE CAB THAT WERE TORCHED BY PRIOR OWNER. MATERIALS CAME FROM REGIONAL TRUCK.

Well seein as Green Giant 2 is busy celebrating his birthday, I'm gonna be the spoiler and tell everybody that "Big John" now has a 350 big cam with a 13 speed behind it sitting between the frame rails. All went well except one cross member had to be moved to allow room for the tranny. Unfortunately I have to go back to work and G.G.2 will be on his own, Keep up the good work Don, I will stop by when I can. Happy Birthday :D :D

GEE WIZ JACOB, YOU MAKE IT SOUND LIKE YOUR LEAVING FOREVER. YES THE TRUCK NOW HAS AN ENGINE AND TRANNY. WITH A LONGER TRANNY WE HAD TO MOVE THE CROSS MEMBER BACK TO THE BACK OF THE CAB. I CAN USE THE MOUNTS THAT THE 4 SPEED BOX WAS HUNG ON. NOW I CAN START HOOKING UP STUFF IN THE ENGINE COMP. AND GETTING SOME HOSES RUN. WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE DRIVE SHAFT IN AND HAVE IT SHORTEND. GOT IN A LITTLE TROUBLE YESTERDAY WHEN MY WIFE WAS DOING THE BOOKS AND SAW HOW MUCH HAS BEEN SPENT. WAITING FOR A MELT TO LOAD ALL THE SCRAP THAT CAME OFF THE TRUCK AND THE OLD RAD. CORE AND GO TO THE SCRAP YARD ,THEN I CAN SPEND MORE AND NOT PULL IT FROM THE BUS. CHECK BOOK. HASNT BEEN ANY WORK SINCE BEFORE TURKEY DAY.

well i ended up taking an old cross member out of the 69. all i had to do was drill the holes out to line up. now the front is up on jack stands and tires are off so it makes it easier to work on engine. my rad. should be done this week, ( never tell some one that your not in a hurry ) been there since christmas time. while front is up on stands i was thinking of changing hubs to 22.5's so i can run 425-65-22.5's on it. always liked that wide stance look.

Hi Don. I have been out of commission awhile due to back injury. (since jan 5th). If you are still interested in fan clutch, pto and or transmission say the word and I'll get it done.

Hi Don. I plugged away at it today and got your clutch and PTO on the bench. I just want you to know that the clutch is an air to engage. Both work beautifully. I will throw in the brackets with the air controls. There are 3 air switches and an idiot light. I guess the only thing we need to discuss is the delivered price :D or whether you want to come here to get them. Chat at you later. JS

I just measured it to be around 37" of course it will vary depending on what part of the taper you're on and how many times you have to kink the tape to get around stuff

found out that the price of scrap was up so i did some house cleaning. got $ 1450 just what came off the truck from the plow frame and wing, and box. also took over 3 old axles and 2 old McCormick Deering crawlers i had. ended up at a total of $ 5400.00.
puts alittle money back in the account and alittle in my brock fund. so i went shopping today at casey's. got 5 nice bullet markers and a nice sun visor, also the strip that holds up the headliner too. on tuesday i went to the scrap yard were i took the junk and came home with a nice air ride seat, nice buddy seat,2 nice air horns and a newer clutch fan. all i had to do was change the air solinoid. tried to get jacob to go today but he had to (STAY) home. now i have to trim the end of the visor to fit around the brackets that are on the truck for the plow lites.
soon the pics. will be coming. we plan on shooting color in the early week.

GG2! That is the real good score putting a few bucks back into the bank.
My wife put me on hold on spending any money on the Brockway.

I went a little over budget on the power steering and tire.
:?: (is the price of steel the same in Florida as it is in New York?)
I think I am going to cut the fifth wheel off and the back fenders of the 358 that might give me enough money to buy some paint. Have no plans on using the fifth wheel and if I do put one back on it would be to pull a fifth wheel motorhome.
