Hello again the start of another week in the shop.
Like Stan said the alignment process is a big deal. There are things that I can't change now because I went this far too bad I didn't see them in the beginning and I would have taken care of them.
Here is a quick update of today's progress.
 Thanks for looking. Tony

Thanks Clay! yes I know about the 358 emblem. $40 for a new emblem is reasonably priced he has 10 available.
Thinking of buying one just to have it, like working with old stuff and trying to make it look good after sandblasting.
To me that is part of fun with the project. Thanks Tony

The sandblasting cabinet is a tool you don't get too used to often.
Cleaning old parts and bringing them back to life is part of the fun of restoring your old Brockway.
Working on hood latches and door parts also have grille shell out for fiberglass repair.
Here is something to look at. Thanks Tony

Hey Tony the truck is looking awsome. I have couple of questions being That im doing a pick up also out of my 359 . What kind of bed or box are you going to put on you 358 ? and where could I get the fiberglass nose piece ? Where I had my truck stored some body decided to smash it out of the radiator shell .

Thanks Hugh!! You still have a few more months of winter 8) warmer here in Florida! :D

Thanks Adam! Let's see if I can answer some of your questions.
The 358 will not have a bed or body it will only have deck plate and sleeper.

The fiberglass 359 insert might be a little tough to find post on the web site that you are looking for one..

If you are talking about my pickup that is a 1974-361 body that sits on a 1968 Chevy 3/4 ton chassis.
Good luck with your project, thanks Tony

Thursday afternoon update.
 Here is another tool that you don't get to use too often.
A small soda blaster for under $100 at Harbor freight two 50 pound bags of soda and small bottle set up.
It was great for cleaning around tough areas and window channel.
The doors are ready for paint.
Finished hammering around the bumper and welding up some holds and prime hopefully will be painting Saturday.
Thanks for looking Tony

Now I know almost everything in Harbor freight is made "over There" But is that made there too? It looks like a cool little tool, but I've been trying to limit the amount of money I'm sending to China. Progress looks good!

Bumper is painted and grill shell is complete and on truck.
For an amateur body man and painter I am getting better at it!
Who knows if I ever get an opportunity to do another Brockway it just might come out great. Thanks for looking. Tony

Thanks Ted,

The windshield!!
The windshield is one of the most difficult parts that I ever put in. :x
Setting the rubber and lock strip was a challenge a while back I been complaining about it and I thought the corners were wrong, well I was wrong.
The first weather stripping I had was the wrong. :!:
Today I installed the windshield and set the lock strip once again it was a challenge but I did it :D
Tom, thanks for letting me know that you had a hard time with the 155 it made me feel better.
Stan, you put a few windshields in and telling me how difficult it was made me feel better.
There are a lot of things that we do that are tough but putting in the three-piece windshield is a challenge. At least in my opinion. Tony
