Tony's Brockway 358 Resto
I manage to get a few things done on the Brockway, gave it its first pressure wash engine and chassis I had to work some old muscles that haven't moved in a while after two hours of that I was pretty dirty.
Went to the motor vehicle today and registered the truck with the new plates on the second try we had it right. Had to take the truck to the motor vehicle for them to identify serial number and mileage. After that was done I went for a long ride for about a half-hour, he really felt good. Setting up the new shop my son Tony painted walls and ceiling for me so that was one big step. I just have to paint the floors probably in a week or so I'll have the Brockway inside ready to start doing some serious work.

There is nothing better than a nice smooth concrete floor to roll the creeper around on. That's a beautiful garage you have there Tony!

Tony, The garage is beautiful, much nicer than outside where my shop is! What are your plans for the truck?

Tony that looks like it's cleaning up nicely! The garage however has a lower ceiling than my "Big Sky" garage! But I guess you'll suffer through with it.

Well here is an update on the new shop. Have the Brockway in its place where it will be sitting for a while as I take it apart for restoration. And that will probably start in about three weeks haven't been over to the west coast to other house yet to start moving.
We will be going over this week to start moving across the state and you know how much fun that will be ha ha ha.
Can't wait to get the pick up in the garage next to the 358. Well that's it for now

Nice Tony! If the truck comes out as good as the gargage it should be sharp.

Finally got to do some work on the 358 it felt good to be in the garage and not be bothered for five hours, Here are a few pictures the right front fender has very little Rot nothing as serious as my 361 it feels good to have plenty of working room should be able to keep a steady pace from here on. I hope until Terry find something else to do for me. she is already looking at changing the kitchen.

I had a good day today. Terry went Christmas shopping. And I got to spend a day in the shop working on at 358. Hopefully tomorrow I'll clean up the frame rail and paint it and work on my pattern for the drilling and notch and I'll get to clean up and paint the parts that need to go in. Probably will not get back to it in till after Christmas.

Glen I should have explained it a little better. I cut the frame in order to get the steering box out it had to be cut anyway for the new box to go in.
Normally you will have to pull the radiator and pitman arm in order to remove the box.

Hey, I noticed you moved to Palm Bay. I used to live in the old part of Melbourne a block off of 192. Some of the places we liked to eat were Meg O'Malleys in downtown. For Chicago style hotdogs---Mustard's Last Stand on US1 just south of Eau Gallie Blvd. Mee-Maw's BBQ on Eau Gallie Blvd in Satelite Beach. If you like Mexican food and this is the best I have had----Dos Amigos on A1A in Indiatlantic. Pizza---we liked Bizarro's on A1A at the end of 192. Also there is a 24/7 diner next to Bizarro's. Chinese buffet---East Garden on Wickham Road north of Aurora Blvd. Also the Sonic drive in next to Nasa Blvd on Apollo Road.
