We had one last load of parts to paint. These included the door panels, lower door panel sills, power window brackets, the heater box, clutch inspection cover, etc… So we hung everything up and starting priming and painting…


After they were painted we let them sit a week prior to reassembly…

And then we started on the heater box…

The heater core came from our ’54 148W and was in tired shape so I had Cicioni’s in Hazleton re-core it for me. For the screen, instead of the factory expanded metal I used a leftover piece of the SS grill I used for the 155W. This came from a 379 Pete and is almost identical to the original material used in the 100 and 200 series trucks…
