I believe in the last newsletter Tom Kile mentioned that the construction was delayed for a year. I will have to double check it tonight when I get home. Regardless even if there was construction they would find somewhere else to have the parade and show. Other than that, the show is always on the second Saturday of August, which for 2020 is August 8.

As of today the Central NY Living History Center, which houses the Brockway Museum, is closed until March 31st due to safety concerns. According to the CDC, Coronavirus does not tolerant heat and sunlight. As summer temperatures rise, the virus is expected to burn itself out as the more typical strain of common flu does every year. At this time, the BTPA board of trustees expects the National Brockway Show to go on as planned.
As for the proposed construction on Main Street in Cortland, the project is still in the engineering phase and is not expected to begin this summer. The BTPA has already had some preliminary contact with the Village of Homer, about 2 miles north of the museum, as an alternate site for the show if needed. The Town is very interested and there is more than adequate space available where Rt 11 (Main St) passes thru Homer to park our trucks and enjoy ourselves as always.
