Re: 358 still on the job

Pickin on my plastic 13 letter manure spreader Richie? Or are you implying I am hauling a trash can? I am pulling a new 53' Great Dane, first load out with it. Thanks For the comment Paul. I think these were a little more difficult to capture

Re: Some 361 and others

The last picture is a 200 series, not 300. So no huskiedrive from factory. The Blue 361T i think i posted pictures of that before. It was just south of Merrills Big Dairy farm Rt89 between Butler and Wolcott. Had a 230 cummins and RT-915 and a helluva winch on it. One heavy S/A tractor. I believe it...

Re: Mid 60's IH 2000D w/Great Dane

Joe, I agree with you too. I like the looks of them, but as you say they are hard to find. I think the V and R 190's and 200's, The Donald Ducks and the 2000's were the only ones that used them

Re: Mid 60's IH 2000D w/Great Dane

I also found this late 60's early 70's 2000D. It is in Centre Hall Pa. Near Penn State University. It has a 6-71 with a 5X4. I wondered if They left something on the roof and forgot to remove it before they lowered the box

Re: Start a Pool????

Joe, as a young boy my brother and i would always do the same thing. Listening for them coming up through the gears, dropping them on a grade. Watch and see how much smoke they'd be blowin out the stack. The smell of raw diesel, blowin black smoke,To see the soot build up on the side of a van or ree...

Re: More from Herzogs

The only ones i remember were the IH's too. (670's and the 4070's. The color scheme is what made me think of an old Poole tractor. I never remember Mack's. I know they were bought out by Schneider National in the 90's

Penn Yan Express Great Danes

I found these 2 years ago. They are owned by a company called Herzog's. They have a terminal on Pa Rt 46 between Smethport and Farmers Valley. I am guessing he has atleast 20 of these 45' GD's. I counted 11 in a lot on US6 in Smethport. One setting by itself as you turn onto Rt46 off US 6. And I can...

Re: Spring in the air

Jeff love those drive byes, sounds great. What injectors do you have in her? mine has N60s even though it runs good I wonder what the difference would feel like with 65s or 70s So yours would be 434hp with N60's right, Dave? N65's is 475. So with N70's well over 500+hp. N70's explains the smoke. Am...
