Re: rockwell SQDD

Ya Rich, I have about 20 sets of these. They were so common in the day, especially ones with with like a 8.50 ratio. I got everything you need. Also check on ebay. They are all over. Just dont fall asleep during the bidding.

Re: Brockway Pic of the Week 10-13-08

Take some good looks at this truck. My friend rich and I were looking at the pictures of this on ebay. This truck is a converted Mack. This first thing I thought was funny was the Duplex. I had a hard time seeing somebody put one in they're truck. It has Mack gauges and throttle peddle, all of which...

Re: Brockway Pic of the Week 6-16-08

Well I dunno RZ761, with that big doghouse, it might be a Kohler V-twin. Some of those have upwards of 26 horse! Bingo

Re: Brockway Pic of the Week 6-16-08

Well yes, when you have a goofy body on the back of your truck, some people do put weed burner exhaust on it. This truck being a tractor, just seems wierd with no stack. If if were a cummins tractor, the owner would have no problem puttin a stack on it. But if it were a detroit, the owner wouldnt wa...

Re: Brockway Pic of the Week 6-16-08

Rz761 im gonna have disagree here. Im still believing that this truck is powered by a Cat or detroit of some sort. The absense of the upright stack leads me to believe this, because cats and detroits generaly do not make enough power to push the exhaust upright. If it were a Cummins, im sure a stack...

Re: Brockway Pic of the Week 2-25-2008

Well what im getting at about the turbo issue is this. Im not sure if any of you guys have heard anyone talk about Penn-Yan 250's or not, but basically when these trucks were getting older, the company started removing the turbos from them and using them in the city, and they were rated at 250 horse...

Re: Brockway Pic of the Week 2-25-2008

I know this truck quite well, it had alot of wierd things done to it. I know those are White Roadboss headlights in it, thats the first thing I see wrong with it. Im not sure where the truck went. Dave may still own it. He wanted quite a bit of money for this truck. It has naturaly aspirated Cummins...

Yes the owner of the truck is Tom Illsley. The truck was a dump truck. The frame and cab are both in really bad shape. But yes the truck is a 761 with a Cummins in it. Might be a good possibility. I can probably get a number for you.
