Re: Brockway Mixer

I like the pit fenders on the mixer. Tin should be decent on the mixers as not used in winter for the most part. Double frames on mixers get a bit bad with the concrete and chemicals.

Re: Back in the day.....

It looks like the 259 Brockway was leased to Youngstown Cartage Company. I remember seeing them but do not know if they are a Fallen Flag.

Re: Greenfield PA Auction

The 260 Brockway went for over $5,000.00. I have no idea what the 358 Brockway went for. It has a C-180 ? supercharged 5X3 trans tandem dump. The 260 went to Dunmore,Penna. it is next to Scranton,Penna.

Re: On a back road.

I would say it was built in 1971. We had a 361 Brockway 74915 built in late 1971. Truck looks good.

1960 Brockway 155 asphalt milling

I cannot post links to you tube. Go to you tube and type in 1960 Brockway155 dump truck. The owner Wally Gorzkowski works for the milling contractor and came up with the idea putting the old Brockway under the miller getting loaded.Nice short video of old Brockway working.

Re: Another working survivor

Not sure but I think the 359 dumper was on Craiglist about 2 years ago. If the same truck it has a 6-71 and 13 speed trans.
