In my opinion, it is a 776. The hood appears too short for a 761, and even though the bumper is homemade, it is the same style of bumper you see on most of the 776's............

I'm not sure, but I don't think this is a 761, hood looks a bit short.... I believe it is a 776......
but whatever the case,m best of luck in your search.. might take some time, but it can happen- took me 25 years to find a particular truck.. don't give up hope!

Nice find... I haven't seen that truck in abt 12-15 yrs. It is at Corliss' Bros Nursery, right, in Ipswich, Ma.? Used to deliver garden supplies there. I have a pic of it back in the day....

Hey Guys, If interest to anyone, that truck has been there roughly 12-14 years.....saw it way back when delivering garden supplies in the area.... ser #81459 H360TL built 8/74 At the time, wasn't for sale, supposedly refused 10k then, perhaps it has changed hands since then........ Clay

UPDATE: Don't have the pics yet, but the truck is coming along slowly...... cab and all body parts off along with motor and trans out.... replaced right outside rail from cab back....repair crossmembers which were broke/cracked.... truck was worked HARD!!!!!!!!! Frame is now upside down just the rai...

It's definitely a wide cab. Check the mirror brackets out, they look almost like ones on a cabover...and looks like the roof lights? are very far apart..

Love the truck, Jeff. For a 40+ year old truck to look this good working everyday proves how tough a product Brockway built. Like to see some of the other makes hauling heavy like this in 40 years..
