Have a new addition to the garage, A758L 88037. 6V53 Detroit with a Jake, 10 speed. Was an oil truck, now a dump. Hope to start on it in the next few weeks. Paul Greenough has volunteered to post pictures, thanks Paul.

I like the B81, they were a very popular truck here in MA. When I was a young man I didnt let things like having a garage stop me from replacing a clutch or transmission or engine or whatever on one of those trucks. Nice B81 Brian, The radiator must have changed, 58's had the low tank. I worked on a lot of those when I first started out, (lots of bad memories).I changed many series parallel switches,and generators that drives the power steering pump. Any question just give me a call.

I think most of you know Gomer (Bruce Taylor) from Rochester MA. He fell off his truck and broke his hip.He is doing OK, staples coming out today, rehab, etc. going to be down for a while. Just keep him in your thoughts and prayers for speedy recovery. Thanks.

It is all what you like, nothing wrong with the1674, would I want to work it every day? No, but neither would you want work a 220 Cummins or 671 Detroit. They are very easy to time, but you dont even have to think of that unless you are going to do some serious work to it. Like Brian said keep them ...
