The HCCA Capital Campaign

Future Home of Brockway Museum

If you have clicked onto this link, no doubt you have a deep appreciation for history! You can play a critical part in making history come alive for the Brockway Truck Museum Complex by donating to the Homer-Cortland Community Agency.

The Homer-Cortland Community Agency was formed to oversee the Brockway Truck collection as well as other excellent and diverse local collections. The property and buildings have been purchased and the museum complex is destined to be a unique and key educational facility, but we need your help to achieve this goal. Please click onto the donor information link for information on your tax-deductible gift. We thank you in advance for your community spirit and generosity!

It is with great pleasure that we announce this Capital Campaign for the Brockway/Homeville Museum Complex. We've created a donor's prospectus that outlines the vision for the property and the plan for its future, but it doesn't begin to measure the strength of this community in its determination to secure its own history. The vision of the people of this community, such as Ken Eaton, who made it his life's work to create the Homeville Museum, and Hugh Riehlman, Shirley Randolph and others from the Brockway Truck Show, whose determination to bring the Brockway Museum to life are a testimony to the character of the people of this county to preserve our heritage.

This isn't as much a Campaign as it is an Invitation to you to take part in one of the most exciting community developments the Central New York area has ever seen. The long term plans call for renovation of three existing buildings, the construction of a new fire house wing, portions of the Tioughnioga River trail and additional structures for community use. It will be a major tourist attraction for years to come.

We envision raising $5,000,000 in the next couple of years from all sources. It is a challenge, but a challenge worth accepting, and completing. We know we can count on you to help us make this happen.
