17th Annual Show Flyer

The Brockway Truck Show is celebrating its 17th anniversary this year with a full schedule of special events that will take place in Cortland, New York, "Home of the Brockways". We have some updates this year so read carefully.

Please see the attached flyer for a listing of the scheduled events. Please note that reservations are required for the dinners on Friday and Saturday evenings. You will find a space for these reservations on the attached registration form. The Ice Cream "Cruise In" will be held at Super Cream Dairy Bar, 75 N. West St., Homer, NY at 6 p.m. on Thursday evening, August 11th. For those who arrive early on Friday, August 12th, you are invited to join in the "Huskie Drive" leaving the museum at 11 a.m. and taking a short drive to a destination for lunch and return to the museum near 3 p.m. Friday night's menu will return with the "Italian Cuisine" preceded by a "wine/craft beer/cider tasting event" - see flyer by clicking here.

Saturday night's dinner will be prepared and served buffet style by Bob's BBQ (see menu on registration form). Our former Brockway employees will be honored at this dinner.

The Brockway Exhibit will have a fresh display of trucks.  The extensive display of Brockway memorabilia on the second level of the museum, which is accessible by stairs or an elevator, will have a new and fresh look.  The Brockway children's comer on the first level, dedicated to the late John Potter, has been updated. The A.B. Brown family, former owners of the museum property, will continue to have their family display.

You will see new displays in the Homeville Museum located in the north wing of the complex. Look out for that train engine coming thru the wall. Tractors of Yesteryear (TOYS Club) will be showing a new collection of antique tractors and farm equipment in "the barn". They also have one room dedicated to "grandma's kitchen and parlor" - depicting memories of long ago - that's a "must see" display.

Plan to stay for the pancake breakfast on Sunday, August 14th starting at 8 a.m. and then attend the

2nd Annual South Central New York ATCA Truck Show being held at our museum complex, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Truck fees for the Show are listed on the registration form. If you have any questions, you may call Jim Price, President, at 607-749-2815 or the Central New York Living History Center at 607-299-4185. Once again our host hotel is the Ramada, 2 River St., Cortland, 607-756-4431 - ask for special Brockway Rate of $95.00 per night - deadline for this rate is July 11th.

AWARD RULES THIS YEAR: Brockway Board members will only be allowed to win once. The Trucker s Choice and The People's Choice will be determined by votes. "The Oldest Brockway" award will be renamed "The Oldest Brockway Motor Truck" award. Farthest Distance Award will be determined by the physical address of the truck (not the truck's owner) and two awards will be presented - one for the furthest driven and one for the furthest trailered in.

We look forward to seeing you all in August
